Protecting the Nest and staying vigilant with our safety protocols are our top priority. Please remember:
Enhanced cleaning protocols have been developed in accordance with CDC guidelines. Building Services is disinfecting common and high-touch areas in classrooms, 2-3 times per day. In between classes, students and faculty have been provided with EPA approved disinfecting wipes for use in wiping down personal areas and workstations. Here are a few things we are asking you to do in an effort to keep us all safe while we are on campus:
Self-monitor for a fever above 100.4° and COVID-19 symptoms before coming to campus each day.
Wear a face covering on campus in areas where 6-feet social distancing may not be possible.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use the hand sanitizing stations across campus.
Maintain a 6-foot distance from others, even when wearing a face covering.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Avoid large crowds and gatherings
It is up to everyone in Owl Nation to help each other stay healthy. You can do your part by abiding by the guidelines issued from the Georgia Department of Public Health, the CDC, the University System of Georgia and KSU to contain the spread of the coronavirus. We are doing everything within our power to maintain a healthy and safe environment for you to learn. Your ongoing cooperation makes a difference in the academic success of both you and your classmates as you find your wings for the future.
